Ellie’s Bio

Ellie came home to live with us in 2018. She was still a kitten, about nine months old. We adopted her from the Humane Society. She was found abandoned in an apartment without any food. She had tapeworms, but was in good health otherwise.

She settled right in with our family including our German Shepherd, Sadie. After Sadie crossed the Rainbow Bridge, Ellie was sad, missing her friend. We later added two Australian Shepherds to our family, Aspen and Willow. Ellie has adapted quite well to her new high energy roommates or “Sisters” as we say here.

Fast forwarding to today, Ellie is living her best life in our happy home. Ellie is our little sunshine girl. She loves stretching out in her window seat, soaking up the sun while watching the Aussies zoom around the yard. When it’s treat time, she dashes to the kitchen with her dog sisters and confidently squeezes her way to the front of the line.

She adores her cat tunnel (truly… it’s her happy place), and when the fun winds down, you’ll usually find her curled up on her favorite human’s lap or chest. Dad is definitely her top-tier snuggle spot.

And at night? She makes sure Mom knows it’s playtime. Ellie will serenade the house with her very enthusiastic (and VERY loud) calls until someone answers.
